Importing Tabs??

hi all!  i understand that Dtab can import your own tab or tab you download from the net right?  can someone explain how this works including every step.  i'm assuming that you go to File - Import Tab, then when the dialog box opens press the Load Tab button and then when you select the txt file for import and it shows up in the dialog box you then press the import tab button.  well when i do this the only thing that happens is a purple bar appears across the top of the Dtab "tab window" with the word "end" on it.  nothing else shows up to edit play or anything. what am i doing wrong? thanks for the help in advance.....

Is it in the correct format for the importer ?  How To Import Tabs

  i downloaded a tab from TTabs, saved it as a text file and loaded it into the importer. i've read the Importing tabs section but couldn't see anything that was wrong with the tab.  it looks good to me.  here is a sample

  It;s not correctly formated.  Replace the "/" characters with the "|" chr

that was simple.....i had to use microsoft character map to get the straight line cause' there wasn't one on the keyboard (unless you know the keystrokes needed to do it) but that's a small price to pay.....thank you very much!

 Dtab V1.00j  has a new replace tool for importing tabs with unusual bar dividers.
