I did change the theme to many different ones. but the problem is still there.

Also it's not only the text for print command that is too small. technically every text in the RUN windows is too small. text in menus. text in the demo version splash (those 3 lines). everything!!!

2 weeks ago i did run PB in Ubuntu using WINE to test if it works. it did run perfect. then when i saw this problem today in windows XP i thought  it might be because that run in Linux Ubuntu. so i removed it and installed again. but problem is still there  :-\

Try to adjust Display properties / Settings / Advanced / DPI setting. This should be 96 DPI.

It is already set to 96 DPI.

is there a chance my fonts be damaged or replaced with some small versions??

Recently i messed a lot with my system. i installed Visual Studio 2008 then uninstalled it and then installed Visual studio 2000. installed and uninstalled many .net frameworks and a lot more. would these changes damage or replace my fonts?

how can i get the original default fonts? i want to reinstall my fonts, i think it might fix the problem.

Since all font files are in a compressed form on the XP CD, you have to try a repair on your XP. Boot from CD, press R to repair (but not repair console, but the next R!), this will copy back only the system files, all other programs remain intact. If that CD is not SP2 then you have to install that manually.

Thanks. i will try it right now. i have winXP SP2 CD

Sarmatii

I inserted the WINXP SP2 disk and restarted the Pc and then booted from the CD. then waited for loading and then pressed "R" to enter the repair console. then everything was confusing, i've never worked with DOS.

please tell me exactly what to do then in that black screen.

Sarmatii, I said: press R to repair (but not repair console, but the next R!)
