Post to and get replies from PHP script

I'm fairly new to PlayBasic but I would really like to try out a few things before I decide to get really into learning it. Is it possible to post messages to a PHP script on a website, and receive a reply (to use a MySQL database)?

Well, if no one knows, the html commands might do something. I'll experiment then post here for those interested.
