Is there a site/information which explains the CRPG light rules

Greetings everyone

As the subject says, the rules in old school RPG games, is there a site which explains all the rules, I just want to know about turn based 'light' rpg game, so you have action/attack points, experience points, magic points, etc

It would be useful to know, even from an indy developer point of view

Try finding one of those old RPG maker programmes made by enterbrain, see if you can get hold of a demo copy and open it up.  I found it a useful source when I was starting to code my first RPG's (using game maker, many moons ago), Hope that helps.
