Mwahahhaaaa! No actually its not a good idea,unless you wanna feel like your on acid drops!!
Anyhow, A major overhaul is occuring,I aint having side panels,instead I have opted for a custom windowed mode,as seen in pic!, With a small balck area at  the top reserved for players score/hi-score! The thing with these old games that were in the arcade like this was that the screen was kinda a weird dimension..err..anyhow I think this is a improvement..I couldnt draw the bloody panels anyhow! :)

I like that blue swirley one, perhaps the black should be a dark shade of blue or purple though.
