Latin percussion

Hi,
I tried dtab and found it very usefull for me. I do not know how to write music and I have my personal way to do it. I play latin percussions (congas, clave, campana...) and would like to know how to add or replace instruments in order to get more specific (dedicated) sounds.
Do I have to buy a midi keyboard, do I have to download special files or is it not possible.
I already cuqstomized the drumkit but it is not enough.
Any suggestions ?

after some research, "percussionstudio" is more suited for me even if Dtab is a very good product.
