Games For Windows (New Service)

Microsoft said today it is announcing a new online store that will let gamers buy digital copies of games.

The Redmond, Wash.-based company is creating a "games on demand" market where users can download games from the Games for Windows Marketplace via connected PCs. The store launches on Nov. 15.

The market will compete with rivals such as Valve's Steam online games market as well as games-on-demand services such as OnLive.

Too bad it's Microsoft. I hate the old Games for Windows Live way too intrusive. While I honestly don't expect too much from this, I may try it out anyways.
