Anybody know of a FREE app that'll split audio files (wav mainly)  into separate tracks  ??..

Thanks,  any Audio editor would work.   But manually splitting a 950 odd tracks is not something i'm even willing to entertain.

Wrote a little Database app the other day for cataloging the recently sampled Albums (in PB of course).   It's not fancy but it'll do the job, which is it to spit out track lists for the final cd's..  It's nice to be able to list em all together though.

As for the splitting the wav files,  I've currently experimenting with writing a Wav File splitter in PB.  So far it'll scan the raw waves pretty easily.  Given these are in raw format (none compressed 16bit stereo), I was worried it might be a bit too much info, but it only takes around 10second to scan a 250 meg wav..
