Oooh, good old memories  :D

I bought(!) Minix for my trusty old Atari ST around 1987. It came on about 10 floppy disks,  720 KB each!
It took a while to boot from floppy and get the C compiler working  :D

But I also bought Linux around '92 on 28 disks, kernel version something like 0.9x! The X windows system was this low level that you had to configure the display driver with your monitor's tech specs. Wrong numbers - ZZZZAP! Dead monitor...
But I managed to do the proper calculations  :P

Yeah, me too!

I am just too lazy to install Linux nowadays - although it improved a lot  :D
Would be more willing to buy a Mini mac and fiddle around with Mac Os X.

And I use Solaris in my daily job - so enough Unix for the day  ;)
