how do i make games?

sorry for being such a newb, but i have no clue on this programming. Do i drag and drop the 2d images in sprites into the main screen of playbasic or what please help or if possible post a link to a tutorial, thanks.

PlayBasic is programming language  primarily dedicated to 2D games development.  As such, your games are built from program code, rather than a GUI based drop and drop mechanism.    If that's what your after, then your probably better off hitting google.com and looking for a package called Game Maker.  

 But, If you'd like to learn how to program on the other hand, well then you'll need to start at the basics.  Learning Basic isn't really that difficult, but does require some logic & basic math skills and good deal of willingness to learn !

 For starters, check out some of the examples on the tutorial board.  Also, read the various tutorials in the About section of the help.
