that santa looks happy.

we went to my nieces house for xmas this year and my dad lives in the same town too, so i went to both houses. this town is a 2 hour drive from home.

what i didn't realise was i developed an oil leak in my car when i got there, and my oil light came on. so i checked the oil level, at dad's house, and there was no oil on the dip stick. so i carefully drove to the service station (luckily it was close by) and bought oil. i topped it up and let the engine run to see where the oil leak was from. i saw fast dripping from the oil pressure switch. well, xmas day at this time of the afternoon all shops were closed. so i carefully drove to my nieces house and needed to stay overnight, leaving a trail of oil on the road.

my mum and sister where with me, and they wanted go get home again on xmas day, so luckily someone else drove them to the train station. mum hadn't been on a train for decades so at least it was nostalgic for her, but on the trip for the first half of it was an older man on the carriage coughing like he had health issues the whole time. she said it was a bit gross.

so the next day, what was funny, was i went to my dads house again after i fixed the oil leak, and there is a trail of oil from his house all the way to my my nieces house going both directions, lol. so i left my mark on the town. you can even see where i stopped at intersections because there is a pool of oil there.

my niece and dad have actually never met before, so i told both of them if they want to know where the other lives just follow the oil trail, lol.

it was a bit of an adventure for xmas this year.

all the best for everyone, stevmjon.
It's easy to start a program, but harder to finish it...

I think that means i am getting old and get side tracked too easy.

 Hey Steve,

Dude Christmas is stressful enough without having the car break down..  Can't remember the last time I was on a train, would have to be back in the 90's I guess

My partner was at work function in melb a few months back and picked the rona on the way home.  Some dude behind her was coughing up a storm.  It missed me somehow, so that's something.

We've had Xmas functions (now turning into New years) for what seems like weeks now.  Got another one tomorrow actually, but that should be the last of em.   Not planning anything for NYE...

  Anyway, enjoy !
