Error message with new install

Hi,

I have installed Playbasic learning edition on a new machine and I'm getting the following error message on launch:

"Error starting module 'Win32DPNetGame'"

The app then starts it will download News/Updates from a certain location, gives advise on how to turn that off in the Extras menu and then becomes unresponsive and needs to be closed.

Would anyone have any advice for me on how to get it functioning?

I found the other thread about this and have enabled Direct Play which has got rid of the error message.

However, it's still crashing on launch. I've added it to the Firewall in case it's a problem with contacting the Underware server, but it didn't make any difference.

Is there a text file somewhere that I can edit to change this default behaviour before starting the app? I assume Extra -> Preferences -> News & Updates makes a change to an ini or cfg file?
