http library help?

Hello Kevin,  I am trying to learn more commands in playbasic and I want to know about the http library.
I found a bug fix for it.  Does it allow me to connect two computers and create a lan connection?  Tha'ts at least what I thought it might do.
I would love head to head combat.  Can you fill me in on some details on how to set this up? and maybe some example code for two party 2 to 4 party connections?
Please it would be appreciated and I would also be learning more about playbasic.

 it's for talking to websites,  there's a couple of networking wrappers from like 10 years ago, but i've no idea where they are today.
