Interesting. Nice to have if you don't have the real thing left over from the olden days. I myself still have access to a Mega Drive and a SNES, to say nothing of emulators, which I do use, so it isn't necessary for me.

I enjoyed the Sonic games back in the day, but on reflection I deem them average platformers. Best Mega Drive game for me was Streets of Rage.
