looks like you have put a lot of planning and storyline into this. good job.

why not add more colours. it will bring out the look even better, rathan than staying with the limited palette.
looking forward to seeing more.

It's easy to start a program, but harder to finish it...

I think that means i am getting old and get side tracked too easy.

monkeybot

Actually, I am horrible at planning :-D I just pick a thing and then I work on that :-P There is only a tiny bit of storyline so far, I have mostly been working on the tools and the game engine. I have not yet started the creative part of making the actual game, aside from the little playable part there is now. I have spent many, many hours programming the game though.

Quotegood job.
Thank you :-)

I am trying to get that special C64 feel and the colors are part of it.

It's not a kind of game I personally play, but it looks impressive. And yes, keep the simple colour palette! (I have fond teenage memories of using 16 colours in QBasic.)

Quotebut it looks impressive
Well thank you :-) I have also spend quite much time on it now.

QuoteAnd yes, keep the simple colour palette!
I will, I am afraid of loosing that special 8 bit feel in the graphics :-)

this one always reminds me of Leisure Suit Larry for some reason..

Haha :-D Nice! I liked the first one even though I did not get very far :-D I like pixelated games, it is what I grew up with and it has more a feel of a "video game" to me than games with photo realistic graphics. I like modern games, a lot, not to be mistaken, and I am looking very much to getting my hands (and feet) on Virtuix Omni + Oculus Rift + some hand motion controller like a rifle or a sword. So new and old are both good!
