 Updating bits and bobs Blog

    As mentioned in the blog i'm going to be doing some updates of various programs hosted on both UW and PB home pages.   Starting with a revision of Pooyan, which is now uploaded on the server.     Games wise there's only WordZap and TwinTrix to do.   Nothing big mind you, just some tweaking and fixing any outstanding bugs.. zip it and upload it.   A handy distraction from some other more boring tasks..  


WordZap V1.04

    Been looking at this program after something like 2 years away, it's a bit of a mess code wise, only change so far,  would be removing the all the timer() calls and replacing them with the wrapped version.  Which corrects the pause game timer issue.

WordZAP V1.04

      This new version includes number of mostly tweaks to the program code, apart from fixes a the timing issue by wrapping the timer() and adding volume controls to the menu.

  From WordZap to TwinTrix

      Updated wordzap a little more, dropped in support for automatic pausing during play if you click outside of the screen.  Previously it'd 1/4 the frame rate to give more time back to the system,  doesn't make sense to keep refreshing the game when it's not in focus.  Prolly a few other tiny changes, but that's about it for V1.04.  JUst got get around to building the package

     Been picking through TwinTrix the last couple of hours,  which is another Tetris styled legacy game from way back in 2005 as well.   The only thing I want to tweak, are a few bugs that can occur when opening and closing dialogs.    Tracking down the issues are pretty simple in the end, it's just finding stuff in really old program that can be fun.   Would like to pretty it up a bit, but can't really be bothered.
