play_mapper won't compile ?

I am very very new at playbasic, which i bought last week and i like it very much by the way. But when i tried to compile the play_mapper tool which i think is very handy i get a compiler error it sounds like this:
error in <Declares.pba>,512: User Psub declaration NAME 'newlevel'was not found
so now i cant use play_mapper snif snif and now i am very sad.... is there a solution?
