This example is a pretty much just a full on test of the sprite rendering modes and the new collision system all in one. While I wouldn't call this game, it pretty much simulates the level of work a fairly 'full on' 2d shooter would need.  

All sprites are rotated/scale/animated and have rotated collision. The player is shooting virtually a constant stream of bullets.

Impacts on the aliens cause the asteroids/aliens to either flash (via colour flash) or colour change via alpha addition.  So it's not for those who suffer epileptic fits easily :)


Controls

  * Move Mouse Left/Right to Turn
  * Left Mouse Button Move Forward
  * Right Mouse button Fire

  * Space Toggle Vsync on/off
  * Enter = Smart bomb
  * ESC = QUIT
